ZENO has launched the Zeno 300, a new entry-level smartphone aimed at the value-focused segment after the launch of the Zeno 200 earlier this year. The device prioritizes battery life, physical durability, and essential daily performance within the sub-Rs. 10,000 price bracket.
Hardware and Performance
The Zeno 300 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7100 processor paired with 4GB of physical RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The system supports up to 8GB of virtual memory expansion, providing up to 12GB of effective RAM to assist with multitasking across basic applications such as messaging, digital payments, and media streaming.
The phone runs Android 16 Go Edition, a lightweight version of the operating system designed to optimize memory usage and maintain system responsiveness on entry-level hardware.
On the front, the Zeno 300 features a 6.56-inch HD+ display (720 × 1612 resolution) with a 90Hz refresh rate. It includes a waterdrop-style notch housing a 5MP front camera, while an 8MP camera handles primary photography on the rear. Audio output is supported by DTS sound processing.
Battery and Build Quality
Battery capacity is a central focus of the Zeno 300, which carries a 6,000mAh cell. The handset supports 18W charging via a USB Type-C port, designed to reduce recharge intervals for high-capacity use.
In terms of build, the device has undergone testing to meet MIL-STD-810H standards, certifying resistance against routine drops, vibrations, and everyday wear. Alongside physical testing certifications, the brand includes a 100-day free screen replacement policy from the date of purchase.
Connectivity and Security
Biometric security options include a side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner and software-based face unlock. For network and peripheral connectivity, the Zeno 300 supports 4G LTE, USB Type-C OTG, an integrated IR blaster for controlling home appliances, and UltraLink Free Call functionality to assist connectivity in areas with weak cellular reception.
