Lava has officially announced the upcoming release of the Lava Virat Curve in India. Scheduled for an official debut on September 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST, the smartphone represents a mid-range entry into the company’s Virat lineup, positioned with design and hardware upgrades over its predecessors.

- Secondary Mini Display: Built directly into the rear camera module, capable of showing battery levels, volume indicators, notifications, the time, and customizable emojis.
- Build & Finish: Vegan leather back finish, available in Heritage Indigo and Makrana Ivory.

Software & Features
The Virat Curve will ship with Android 16 out of the box, with Lava committing to two years of major OS upgrades and three years of security updates. The device integrates several AI-assisted utilities, including AI Call Summary, AI Voice Translation, and Lava’s proprietary Vayu AI assistant.
The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart following its September 21 launch, where official retail pricing will be confirmed.
