Whirlpool of India has launched the Luxuriem range of 4-door refrigerators in India. The range includes a 654-litre model with a 4-door configuration.
The Luxuriem range features Whirlpool’s 360° Triple Cooling Technology, which uses a triple evaporator architecture with three independent evaporators, three dedicated cooling systems, and three dedicated airflows. These systems serve the refrigerator, convertible, and freezer compartments independently.
Each compartment has its own cooling environment with precise temperature and humidity levels, while the system prevents odour transfer between fresh food, frozen food, and convertible storage. Whirlpool says these dedicated cooling environments help preserve the taste, texture, and quality of food while keeping fruits and vegetables fresher and crisper for longer.
The convertible compartment can switch from freezer to refrigerator mode in under 30 minutes while retaining dedicated freezer space. It also supports more than 100 customisable storage modes, allowing the storage configuration to be changed according to household requirements.
The 4-door layout has a wider refrigerator section for larger cookware and serving dishes, along with wide-access shelves. It also features zero-bending crisper drawers and dedicated storage zones for fresh produce, dairy, frozen foods, and everyday essentials. Opening only the required compartment instead of the entire refrigerator cavity helps reduce cooling loss.
The storage system uses fully interchangeable shelves, trays, and storage components. Other storage features include:
- Soft-close drawers
- Larger door bins
- Freezer bins for masalas, nuts, and spices
- Dedicated freezer lighting
The range is available in Duo Noir, Nero Quartz, Dark Quantum, Rhodium Steel, and Cosmos Black finishes, subject to model availability. The Duo Noir variant combines glass and metal finishes and is described by Whirlpool as India’s first Glass & Metal Dual Finish.
The range also features what Whirlpool describes as India’s first Obsidian Interiors with Quad Theatre Lighting. Other features include Metal Cooling and a Beverage Rack.
The range includes iCare Expert, which enables remote diagnosis over a call. Whirlpool says the feature is intended to provide quicker, one-visit service resolution.

Pricing and Availability
The Whirlpool Luxuriem 4-door refrigerator is available in a 654-litre capacity with a 3-Star BEE Energy Rating. It starts at Rs. 98,000 and is available through leading retail stores and online platforms across India.
Commenting on the launch, Nakul Tewari, Vice President – Marketing, Whirlpool of India, said:
As we met existing users of large capacity refrigerators, some pain points emerged with respect to the current available products in the market – not enough space to keep large and wide utensils which are intrinsic to Indian cooking, a convertible solution which is inefficient and a fruit/vegetable stocking zone which requires constant bending. We realised that most of the available large capacity refrigerators in the country today are not designed for Indian cooking and storage habits.
The Whirlpool Luxuriem range of 4 door refrigerators addresses all these consumer concerns by amalgamating a thoughtfully engineered product format that combines superior preservation, greater storage flexibility, sophisticated design and cutting edge technology, redefining what consumers can expect from premium refrigeration.
