Ai+ Smartphone has announced the Nova 2 Power 5G, the latest entry in its Nova 2 Series, previewing the device’s hardware specifications, design, and color variants through its Project Open Review 2.0 initiative prior to general market availability.
Expanded Pre-Release Testing Initiative
Following the initial Project Open Review—which recorded over 700 registrations—Open Review 2.0 broadens its scope to incorporate ethical hackers alongside tech creators, reviewers, journalists, and enthusiasts. The initiative provides early, unscripted access to the hardware, allowing independent evaluation of device security, performance, and overall software stability prior to consumer release.
Hardware and Software Architecture
The Nova 2 Power 5G focuses on sustained operational efficiency and updated internal hardware:
- Processor: Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, manufactured on a 6nm architecture to optimize processing output and power consumption.
- Operating System: Operates on NxtQuantum OS, the proprietary platform developed by Ai+ Smartphone.
- Evaluation Scope: Testers will benchmark thermal management, day-to-day responsiveness, security resilience, and battery endurance across varied use cases.
Industrial Design and Finishes
The device incorporates a dual-gradient exterior finish intended to merge contrasting visual tones into a single panel:
- Golden Blue Fusion: Merges a muted gold upper tone into a deep navy blue gradient.
- Blue Fusion: Combines an ocean blue base that transitions into a sunset orange accent.
