Portronics has launched the Ruffpad series of multicolour LCD writing pads for children in India. The range includes the Ruffpad Teddy 8.5, Ruffpad Dino 8.5 and Ruffpad PupX 10, with 8.5-inch and 10-inch screens designed for writing, drawing, doodling and handwriting practice.
Ruffpad Teddy 8.5
The Ruffpad Teddy 8.5 features an 8.5-inch vivid multicolour LCD screen integrated into a teddy bear-inspired design. It is powered by a replaceable CR2025 coin-cell battery and has a lightweight design.
Ruffpad Dino 8.5
The Ruffpad Dino 8.5 comes with an 8.5-inch vivid multicolour LCD screen and a green dinosaur-shaped body. It is powered by a replaceable CR2016 coin-cell battery and has a lightweight design.
Ruffpad PupX 10
The Ruffpad PupX 10 features a 10-inch multicolour LCD screen with a puppy-inspired design and floppy-ear handles. The larger screen provides additional space for drawing, writing and handwriting practice. It is powered by a replaceable CR2025 coin-cell battery and is designed for portability.
All three models have reusable writing surfaces with one-tap erase functionality and screen-lock protection. Their no-blue-light LCD screens are designed for comfortable viewing, while the reusable surfaces allow users to create, erase and start again without paper. The pads are designed for use at home, school or while travelling.
The Ruffpad series works with the Ruffpad App, which allows users to save and share notes and doodles.

The Ruffpad Dino 8.5 is priced at Rs. 499 (MRP: Rs. 999), while the Ruffpad Teddy 8.5 costs Rs. 599 (MRP: Rs. 999). The Ruffpad PupX 10 is priced at Rs. 749 (MRP: Rs. 1,299).
