Zepp Health’s leading smart wearable brand, Amazfit, has announced the launch of iOS Notification Forwarding. This new Beta feature offers eligible iPhone users in the European Union an enhanced notification experience on select Amazfit smartwatches, moving beyond basic alerts to allow direct interaction from the wrist.
Depending on the specific notification type, users can now reply to messages, execute quick actions (such as “Mark as Read” or “Call Back”), and view supported images sent from security cameras, smart doorbells, and other applications.
Key Capabilities of the Feature
- Direct Replies: Users can respond to supported messaging alerts (such as WhatsApp) directly from their smartwatch, reducing the need to check their phones.
- Quick Actions: Interactive options like “Mark as Read” or “Call Back” can be handled immediately on the device to minimize interruptions.
- Image Previews: Supported visual alerts, including camera and doorbell notifications, will display images directly on the watch screen.
Device Compatibility and Rollout Timeline
The phased rollout is expected to begin on June 30, following a gradual update to the Zepp App.
