Bhagwati Products Limited crosses Rs. 17,000 Crore revenue milestone

Bhagwati Products Limited has achieved a revenue milestone of Rs 17,000 crore, driven by an expanding manufacturing footprint, an established presence in the smartphone ecosystem, and growing capabilities across the broader electronics value chain.

This development follows a period of rapid scaling for the company. Bhagwati Products’ revenues grew nearly tenfold from approximately Rs 620 crore in FY24 to Rs 6,200 crore in FY25, establishing the foundation for its current financial milestone within a two-year period.

Smartphone Manufacturing and Capacity Expansion

The smartphone segment remains the primary revenue driver for Bhagwati Products. The company currently maintains an annual production capacity of up to 40 million smartphones, serving global brands such as Vivo, OPPO, and Lenovo.

The transition to the Rs 17,000 crore mark was supported by an expansion of its manufacturing infrastructure, specifically through the scaling up of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Final Assembly, Test, and Pack (FATP) lines. These upgrades have increased throughput and manufacturing flexibility. In addition to smartphones, the company is diversifying its portfolio by scaling production in adjacent consumer electronics categories, including tablets and True Wireless Stereo (TWS) devices.

Evolution Into an Integrated Electronics Platform

Beyond high-volume assembly, Bhagwati Products is shifting toward an integrated platform model by developing internal capabilities in design, engineering, components, and advanced manufacturing.

The company’s current operational portfolio includes:

  • Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)
  • Memory Technologies
  • Tooling Infrastructure

As part of its long-term strategy to increase domestic value addition, the company is also evaluating potential investment opportunities in deep-tech and semiconductor-linked technologies.

Strategic Joint Venture and Future Growth Drivers

A key catalyst for the company’s recent growth has been its 51:49 joint venture with Huaqin, a global Original Design Manufacturer (ODM). This partnership has enhanced Bhagwati Products’ product development and engineering capabilities, playing a central role in the FY25 revenue acceleration to Rs 6,200 crore and supporting larger order volumes across connected devices.

Looking forward, Bhagwati Products is targeting new segments to sustain its growth trajectory. The company is currently preparing to enter the IT hardware and computing markets. Additionally, it has identified automotive electronics as a critical future growth engine, aiming to capitalize on the increasing integration of software and electronic components in modern vehicles.

Through these combined initiatives in design, manufacturing, memory, and next-generation technologies, Bhagwati Products is positioning itself to transition from a pure-play manufacturer into a diversified electronics technology platform.

Commenting on the milestone, Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder, Bhagwati Products Limited, said:

Our ambition is to build India’s leading Electronics Design Platform. We believe India’s opportunity lies not just in manufacturing products at scale, but in building deep capabilities in design, engineering, components and advanced manufacturing. By strengthening design-led innovation and integrating global technology capabilities into India, we aim to enable global brands to scale with confidence while positioning India as a stronger force in the global electronics value chain.
