Samsung Electronics America has announced the Galaxy Book6 Edge in the US. The new laptop joins the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6 as the fourth model in the Galaxy Book6 series. Samsung says the device is designed to support AI-powered productivity and on-device AI workloads.
Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge
The Galaxy Book6 Edge is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite AI PC platform, delivering up to 80 TOPS of AI performance for on-device AI tasks and productivity workloads.
It features a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X anti-reflective touchscreen display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with DX. The panel supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, while Samsung’s Vision Booster technology automatically adjusts brightness and contrast based on ambient lighting conditions.
The laptop is equipped with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Samsung has also included a touchscreen interface and Clickpad for navigation and controls.
Samsung claims the battery can provide up to 22 hours of video playback. It supports Super Fast Charging through the bundled 65W charger, allowing the battery to reach up to 40% charge in around 30 minutes.
The Galaxy Book6 Edge measures 0.48 inches in thickness and weighs 3.42 pounds. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a built-in microSD card slot, and multiple ports for accessories and peripherals.
