BenQ Board Pro RP05 interactive display with Google EDLA and ClassroomCare features launched in India

BenQ has launched the Board Pro RP05 in India as an interactive display for classroom use. It is available in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 86-inch sizes and supports on-device AI processing without cloud connectivity, enabling AI functions to run locally.

BenQ Board Pro RP05

The Board Pro RP05 is powered by a 10 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with an ETHZ AI score of ~430, positioned in the top segment of large-format interactive displays in India. It supports offline generative AI, enabling AI tasks to run locally without active internet access, and is compared to systems using 4–6 TOPS NPUs.

The system runs on the MediaTek Genio 720 IoT chipset, paired with 16GB DDR5X RAM and 256GB storage, with support for over-the-air (OTA) updates. It includes up to 50 touch points (Android and Windows), a 70W audio system (two 25W speakers and one 20W subwoofer), and an eight-microphone array.

Connectivity options include USB-C 3.0 with 100W Power Delivery, HDMI 2.0 input/output, and Duo Screen support for external display extension.

Safety, management and system features

The device includes BenQ ClassroomCare®, featuring Eyesafe® 3.0 certification, RPF® 60 and CPF® 50 filtering, and TÜV/SIAA germ-resistant coating effective against 99.9% of common germs. It also includes a built-in air quality sensor tracking CO2, PM2.5, and TVOC levels in real time.

It runs on Android 15 with Google EDLA certification, including Google Play Protect malware scanning, IT-level controls for camera, microphone, and file access, and enterprise tools such as a Device Management System for remote control and updates and an Account Management System with QR login and cross-device profile restoration.

Pricing and availability

The BenQ Board Pro RP05 will be available in India from 25 June 2026 in three variants—RP6505 (65-inch), RP7505 (75-inch), and RP8605 (86-inch)—with prices starting at Rs. 2,00,000 (MOP, inclusive of taxes).

Speaking on the launch, Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India and South Asia, said:

Indian classrooms have waited long enough for an interactive board that improves the multi-tasking capability of teachers. RP05 does this by preventing any slowdowns as it has the lowest power consumption in this segment. Teachers, then, can focus on the most important activity in a classroom – teaching. Basically, we’re bringing our best tech to Indian classrooms and helping educators, and in turn, students in new ways.
