POCO has confirmed the launch of POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max 5G smartphones in global markets and in India on March 17th, after the rumours and teasers.
The teaser image shows the X8 Pro in white and X8 Pro Max in Black, both with a metal frame and dual rear cameras.
POCO Global recently confirmed Dimensity 8500 Ultra for the X8 Pro and Dimensity 9500s for the X8 Pro Max, making these the first phones to use the chips in India.
Based on earlier rumours, the X8 Pro will get a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 20MP front camera, IP69K ratings, and a 6500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging. The battery could be for the global version, and the Indian version could get a 7560mAh battery, similar to the REDMI Turbo 5.
The X8 Pro Max is expected to pack a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 20MP front camera, IP69K ratings, and a 9000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, similar to the REDMI Turbo 5 MAX.
