A new POCO phone with the model number 2511FPC34G has surfaced in Geekbench listing, revealing MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, 12GB RAM and Android 16. It should be the upcoming POCO X8 Pro, the successor to the popular POCO X7 Pro.
This will be a rebranded version of the REDMI Turbo 5, which was launched in China last month, packing a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, Dimensity 8500-Ultra, Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3, a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 20MP front camera, IP69K ratings and a 7560mAh (typical) with 100W fast charging.
The POCO X8 Pro has already surfaced on NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification and the South Korean RRA certification database, so the launch is imminent.
MediaTek already confirmed that it will launch a POCO phone in India with the Dimensity 9500s SoC, so we can expect the POCO X8 Pro Max, based on the REDMI Turbo 5 Max, alongside it. The global and India launch of the POCO X8 Pro series are expected sometime in March 2026.
