Altos Computing Ltd, an Acer Group company, has announced a strategic partnership with Industry.AI, a BLP Group company, to deploy YodaEdge. This secure and scalable edge AI platform is designed to bring real-time artificial intelligence capabilities directly to industrial and urban environments across India.
YodaEdge is designed to address these specific challenges through an edge-first, on-premises architecture. By processing data locally rather than relying on distant cloud servers, the platform aims to deliver enterprise-grade AI capabilities with low latency and high reliability, while ensuring that sensitive operational data remains under the user’s control.
“AI in a Box” Architecture
The YodaEdge™ solution functions as a pre-integrated “AI in a Box.” It combines Industry.AI’s Orion industrial AI platform with Altos Computing’s edge-optimized infrastructure servers. The hardware is powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing and utilizes the NVIDIA AI software stack, including CUDA, TensorRT, and NVIDIA NIM microservices. This integration allows for the local deployment of vision, language, and generative AI models.
This architecture supports “Physical AI” use cases, where systems interact directly with sensors, machines, and the physical environment in real-time, aligning with initiatives for technological self-reliance and data localization.

Designed for factory floors and distributed infrastructure, YodaEdge™ supports several critical industrial applications:
