LG Gallery TV lifestyle screen to debut at CES 2026

LG Electronics (LG) has announced that it will debut a new lifestyle-focused screen at CES 2026: the LG Gallery TV. The model expands LG’s lifestyle TV portfolio and serves as a dedicated digital canvas compatible with the LG Gallery+ content service, which offers a library of more than 4,500 visual works.

LG Gallery TV

The Gallery TV is designed for home interiors where screens function as visual elements rather than traditional televisions, integrating display hardware with curated visual content.

Gallery Mode and display characteristics

The LG Gallery TV includes a dedicated Gallery Mode developed in collaboration with museum curators. This mode adjusts color accuracy and brightness to reflect the visual texture of original artworks. A specialized display surface reduces glare and minimizes reflections, supporting an art-style viewing experience.

The TV automatically adapts picture quality based on ambient lighting conditions, ensuring consistent visibility and clarity throughout the day.

Design, sizes, and physical configuration

The Gallery TV comes in 55-inch and 65-inch models and features a slim, flush-mounted design suitable for wall installation. The TV supports attachable magnetic frames for customization. Frame availability varies by market, with one frame type included by default and another sold separately, depending on the region.

The TV also includes internal storage, allowing users to store and manage selected visual content directly on the device.

Picture, audio, and processing hardware

In addition to displaying art-focused content, the Gallery TV functions as a standard television. It uses LG’s MiniLED display technology and is powered by the α (Alpha) 7 AI Processor, supporting 4K resolution output. Audio performance is handled by AI Sound Pro, which provides Virtual 9.1.2-channel sound output.

LG Gallery+ service integration

The Gallery TV experience is centered around the LG Gallery+ service, which functions as a visual interior platform rather than a standard content streaming service. Users can access a library of over 4,500 pieces of content, refreshed monthly, covering fine art, cinematic imagery, video game visuals, and animations.

LG Gallery+ is available across LG’s full TV lineup and offers two access levels: a free light version on LG TVs, and a full version requiring a monthly subscription purchased through webOS Pay. Service availability and subscription access vary by region.

Beyond the curated library, users can generate custom visuals using generative AI tools or display personal photos stored in their own libraries. The service also supports background music playback, allowing users to select built-in tracks or stream personal playlists via Bluetooth.

CES 2026 showcase and availability

LG will showcase its complete Art TV lineup, including the Gallery TV, at CES 2026. Visitors can view the Gallery TV and other lifestyle displays at LG’s booth (#15004) at the Las Vegas Convention Center during CES 2026. Details on pricing and availability are expected to be announced, with a global launch planned for next year.

Speaking on the launch, Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, said:

We will continue to lead the market by expanding our lifestyle TV lineup, transforming the screen into a companion that seamlessly adapts to our customers’ preferences. Our goal is to enrich customers’ lives by providing the freedom to design every aspect of their personal space.
