HONOR just introduced the HONOR WIN and WIN RT, the company’s next gaming-centric phone in China, as it had promised. These pack a 6.83″ 1.5K 185Hz OLED display with 5920Hz PWM zero-risk dimming for sharp, clear vision, and 3500Hz instant touch control for low latency in aiming, movement, and combos.
The HONOR WIN RT is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite and the WIN is powered by 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. These pack up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The phones come with Dongfeng Turbo Cooling system featuring an industry-first direct-drive cooling airflow and dual 360° surround fans, a 25,000 RPM “Rage Mode,” and the most powerful fan speed, it maximizes air intake area, resulting in a significant drop in phone’s temperature, said the company.
The phones have a 50-megapixel main sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel front camera. The WIN also has a 50MP 3x telephoto camera. The back uses an ultra-light and ultra-thin fiberglass process and features a large curved frame design with an 85% arc ratio
The phone has IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, and a metal frame. It has a 10,00mAh third-generation carbon-silicon battery, the highest on a phone till date with support for 80W (WIN) / 100W (WIN RT) wired superfast charging and up to 27W reverse wired charging.
