HUAWEI has launched the nova 15 series in China, introducing three models — nova 15, nova 15 Pro, and nova 15 Ultra — continuing the three-model strategy from the previous generation.
nova 15
The nova 15 measures 161.87 mm × 75.5 mm × 7.2 mm, weighs 196 g, and is available in Green, Purple, White, and Black. It has a 6.7‑inch TrueColor OLED flat display with 2412×1084 resolution, 2160 Hz PWM dimming, SGS drop-resistance certification, AI HDR, and AI eye protection with fatigue reminders and visual health tracking.
The device carries an IP65 rating. It is powered by the Kirin 8020 processor and includes a 6000 mAh silicon-based battery with 100W Super Fast Charge Turbo, supporting up to 23 hours of long video playback and 20 hours of short video playback. Storage options are 256 GB or 512 GB ROM.

Shared features and HarmonyOS 6
All nova 15 series models run HarmonyOS 6 with updated Xiaoyi AI features. Tasks such as check-ins, rewards, and reminders can be completed with a single tap or set to run automatically. Static images can be turned into dynamic poster cards and linked to Xiaoyi Photo Studio for HUAWEI account avatars.
The system supports collaborative themes such as ROBBi with animated IP visuals and adjustable colors. Wallpaper-based stylized themes are supported, along with mood text that changes based on emotional states. One-touch sharing enables fast transfer of photos, themes, contacts, and apps between devices.
The devices support AI two-way call noise reduction with voiceprint filtering and generative AI repair. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7 on nova 15, Wi-Fi 7+ on Pro and Ultra, AI 5A networking, StarFlash audio retrieval, Beidou satellite messaging, TianTong satellite calling on Ultra, and offline Changlian communication, with multiple five-star certifications for signal and call quality.
