Real Racing 3 to be discontinued after 12 years

EA Mobile has announced that the popular mobile racing title Real Racing 3 will be sunset after twelve years of launch. The transition will occur in phases, beginning with the removal of the game from digital storefronts this month and concluding with a total server shutdown in early 2026.

Key Shutdown Timeline

The closure of the game will follow a specific schedule to allow existing players to conclude their progress and spend remaining resources:

Date Event Details
December 18, 2025 Storefront Delisting The game will be removed from the App Store and Google Play for new users.
December 18, 2025 In-App Purchases Disabled Real-money transactions and packs will no longer be available for purchase.
March 19, 2026 Server Closure All game servers will be permanently turned off, making the game unplayable.
Impact on Current Players

While the game has been delisted for new users as of December 18, 2025, existing players who have previously downloaded the title can still re-download it via their account history on the App Store or Google Play.

Players have until March 19, 2026, to use any remaining in-game currencies. After this date, all unused currency will expire, and access to the game’s features and content will cease entirely.

Final Update and Player Rewards

To mark the conclusion of the game’s twelve-year journey, a final update is being released as a gesture of appreciation to the community. All players will receive a digital gift package consisting of:

  • 1,000 Gold
  • Audi S1 e-tron quattro
  • 2023 Rimac Nevera

For players who already own these specific vehicles, the developers have confirmed that additional Gold will be granted as compensation.
