Reliance Jio has unveiled its new prepaid tariff portfolio titled the “Happy New Year 2026” plans. The update introduces three new recharge options ranging from data add-ons to annual subscriptions, with a focus on bundled OTT content and AI service integration.
The new plans introduce a significant partnership with Google, bundling the Gemini Pro AI service with select high-tier recharges.
1. Hero Annual Recharge (₹3,599)
Designed for long-term users, the Hero Annual Recharge is priced at ₹3,599. This plan focuses on connectivity and productivity benefits rather than content bundles.
- Validity: 365 days
- Data: 2.5 GB per day (with Unlimited 5G data access)
- Calling & SMS: Unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
- Additional Benefit: Includes a complimentary 18-month subscription to the Google Gemini Pro Plan. The promotional material values this subscription at ₹35,100.
2. Super Celebration Monthly Plan (₹500)
This plan targets users looking for extensive entertainment options on a monthly cycle. Despite the shorter validity, it carries the same high-value AI benefit as the annual plan.
- Validity: 28 days
- Data: 2 GB per day (with Unlimited 5G data access)
- Calling & SMS: Unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
- OTT Benefits: The plan includes a bundle of streaming services valued at ₹500/month, comprising: YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, Amazon PVME, Sony LIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Kancha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, FanCode, and Hoichoi.
- Additional Benefit: Like the annual plan, this includes the free 18-month Google Gemini Pro Plan.
3. Flexi Pack (₹103)
The Flexi Pack is a lower-cost option designed for users seeking specific regional or genre-based content along with a data top-up.
- Validity: 28 days
- Data: 5 GB (Lump sum)
- Customizable Entertainment: Users must select one of the following three packs:
- Hindi Pack: Includes JioHotstar, Zee5, and SonyLIV.
- International Pack: Includes JioHotstar, FanCode, Lionsgate, and Discovery+.
- Regional Pack: Includes JioHotstar, SunNXT, Kancha Lanka, and Hoichoi.
This new prepaid packs will be available from Jio’s website, MyJio app and should be available at all existing checkpoints.
