nubia today expanded its foldable smartphone lineup with the launch of the nubia Fold and Flip3.
nubia Fold
It features dual OLED displays, including an 8-inch main screen (2,480 × 2,200) and a 6.5-inch cover display (2,748 × 1,172). Folded, the device measures 11.1 mm in thickness, weighs 249 grams, and has IPX4 water resistance and IP5X dust protection. It supports half-open multitasking, allowing the two screens to be used independently.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 12 GB of RAM and a 6,560 mAh battery supporting 55 W fast charging. The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP wide-angle lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5 MP macro lens, while the front cameras consist of a 20 MP main lens and a 20 MP cover lens. AI features assist in night photography, portraits, group shots, and automatic image correction.
AI features can be activated with a 0.5-second press of the power button, and future FOTA updates may expand functionality, the company noted. The nubia Fold also includes AI functions for daily use, such as:

- AI Simultaneous Interpretation for real-time translation and subtitles
- AI Writing for text generation
- AI Face Sticker for privacy masking
- Eraser Magic for object removal
- AI Gaming Space, which manages notifications and performance during gameplay
- FeliCa support for contactless payments

It features a 6.9-inch main OLED display (2,790 × 1,188) with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 4.0-inch outer sub-display (OLED, 1,200 × 1,092). The device weighs approximately 187 grams and has a high-strength aluminum frame. When opened, it measures 170 × 76 × 7.5 mm, and when closed, it is 87 × 76 × 15.9 mm.
The Flip3 supports 300,000 open–close cycles and is designed with a third-generation high-strength hinge for durability. It also has IPX4 water resistance and IP5X dust protection. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It is equipped with a 4,610 mAh battery that supports all-day usage.
The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP wide-angle lens and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, while the front camera is 32 MP. Gesture controls allow photos to be taken without touching the screen, and the Neovision AI Camera automatically handles movement, zoom, and enhancements. The nubia Flip 3 includes AI functions for daily use, such as:

Pricing and Availability
The nubia Fold comes in Black and retails for JPY 178,560 (USD 1148 or Rs. 1,03,585 approx.). It will launch in Japan on December 4, 2025, with a wider release expected in 2026.
The nubia Flip3 is available in White and Black, with pricing and availability expected to be announced when it goes on sale in January 2026.
