POCO has started teasing the launch of C85 5G, the company’s next budget 5G smartphone in India. The device appears to share a design language with the Redmi 15C 5G, suggesting a familiar rebranding strategy often employed by the company. This will launch in India tomorrow, December 3rd.
In terms of specifications, the C85 5G is expected to offer an immersive visual experience with a massive 6.9-inch HD+ display featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Performance will likely be driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, aiming to deliver reliable 5G connectivity at an affordable price point.
For photography, the teasers confirm a dual rear camera module headlined by a 50MP main sensor, paired with an 8MP front-facing camera. A key highlight is the substantial, 6000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting endurance. Security is handled by a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
