POCO has introduced the POCO F8 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the F8 series for the global markets, at an event in Indonesia, as it had promised. The phone feature a 6.59-inch 2K AMOLED flat POCO HyperRGB screen with peak brightness of up to 3500 nits, 120Hz refresh rate, has support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, full brightness DC dimming, 2560Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and 12-bit 68.7 billion colors.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB storage, and has LiquidCool Technology with POCO’s first 3D triple-layer IceLoop system. This triple-layer design increases the distance between the screen and the liquid heat pipe (LHP) to minimize surface heat, while bringing the LHP closer to the SoC, enabling heat from the core to be absorbed and transferred more efficiently. Together, these refinements achieve a 40% increase in maximum thermal capacity within a more compact body compared to POCO F7 Pro, said the company.
The phone features 1115F ultra-linear, symmetrical dual speakers, and has Sound by BOSE tuning. It has triple rear cameras with a 50MP 1/1.55″ Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, Xiaomi AISP 2.0, 13.2EV movie-level high dynamic range, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 2.5x periscope telephoto camera with 10cm macro option. There is IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The F8 Pro features POCO’s first one-piece milled glass design, the back cover is sculpted from a single 2mm-thick glass block through CNC cold-carving, undergoing 3 carving stages and 41 processes. This forms a 1.3 mm⁶ deco around the camera, adding depth and texture while allowing the camera deco to transition seamlessly into the back panel. The design also achieves POCO’s first glossy–matte effect on milled glass, combining a frosted back panel with a glossy glass rectangular deco for a more premium feel, said the company.
The phone comes with a 6210mAh battery with 100W fast charging that can charge the phone up to 100% in just 37 minutes.

The POCO F8 Pro comes in Black, Titanium Silver and Blue colours and is priced at USD 579 (Rs. 51,680 approx.) for the 12GB + 256GB model and the 12GB + 512GB model costs USD 629 (Rs. 56,145 approx.).
With USD 40 early bird discount, the starting price will be USD 529 (Rs. 47,220 approx.). Sales begin today, November 26th in select countries.
