Samsung India has expanded its Care+ protection programme to include extended warranty plans for home appliances. The new coverage now applies to refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwave ovens and Smart TVs, giving customers additional options to safeguard devices beyond the standard warranty period.
Samsung Care+ Upgrade: Key Enhancements
The upgraded version of Samsung Care+ introduces industry-first protection for software updates and screen malfunctions, provided there is no physical damage. This addition ensures that issues related to software performance or non-physical display failures are covered, extending support beyond typical hardware-focused warranties.
Service Network and Support
Samsung Care+ is supported by a service framework centred on Expertise, Reach, Reliability, Speed, Smart Service, Protection and Sustainability.
The programme includes:
- 13,000+ Samsung-certified engineers
- 2,500+ service centres across India
- 100% genuine Samsung parts
- Multi-lingual customer assistance in nine Indian languages
- Service tracking and maintenance reminders through the Samsung app
These measures are designed to ensure consistent service standards and timely issue resolution
Pricing and Plan Options
Samsung Care+ appliance plans are available across India with 1–4-year warranty durations. Pricing starts at Rs. 2 per day, and customers can purchase or activate the plans through Samsung’s official channels, authorised retailers and service centres.
