Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone in India this week. Here we have the first impressions of the latest FE series smartphone which gets a faster SoC, bigger battery and a refined design.

The Galaxy S25 FE retains the 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO Display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1900 nits peak brightness, and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
Powered by the latest Exynos 2500 SoC with 8GB of RAM, the phone has 10% larger vapor chamber compared to the predecessor. It runs Android 16 with One UI 8 on the top, bringing improved Galaxy AI features.
It still has an improved 12MP front camera. You can see the sleek bezels below the screen. There are upgrades to Google’s Circle to Search, new Now Brief & Now Bar that proactively offer suggestions based on analyzed data, accessible on the lock screen.
The phone incorporates a metal frame. The power button and the volume rockers are on the right side. The speaker grill, USB Type-C port, primary microphone and the SIM card slot are on the bottom. The microphone is on the top.
Even though the phone has a 6.3-inch screen and a bigger battery, the phone is now 7.4mm thick, making it 0.6mm sleeker and weighs just 190 grams, making it 23 grams lighter than the predecessor.
The phone retains with the 50MP main camera with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 8MP Telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom from the Galaxy S24 FE. Check out some camera samples.
For the battery, the S25 FE comes with a 4,900mAh cell, compared to 4700mAh in the predecessor and now has 45W fast charging compared to 25W in the S24 FE. It also has support for wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE starts at Rs. 59,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and will be available from Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, select Samsung authorized retail stores, and other online portals from September 29th onwards.
