Today in China, HUAWEI introduced the FreeBuds 7i, expanding its TWS lineup alongside the Mate XTs tri-fold phone and MatePad Mini tablet. The earbuds combine ergonomic design, advanced noise cancellation, spatial audio, and extended battery life.
The charging case is spherical with a soft, smooth finish that fits comfortably in the hand. The earbuds’ streamlined shape prioritizes both stability and wearing comfort, the company said. Four ear tip sizes (XS, S, M, L) provide a secure fit and help reduce ambient noise.
Sound is delivered through an 11 mm four-magnet driver, supporting LDAC, wired audio, and Bluetooth 5.4. AudioVivid technology with head-tracking enables 360° spatial sound, compatible with Huawei Music and major streaming platforms.
Noise Cancellation 4.0 employs an 8 mm² microphone, a three-microphone array, and AI algorithms, achieving under 0.5-second response, 28 dB noise reduction, and 50% lower power consumption. Adaptive noise filtering is available for:
- Subway: Blocks carriage and crowd noise
- Dormitory: Maintains private listening
- Leisure: Creates an immersive audio experience
Voice capture is enhanced by bone conduction and AI noise suppression up to 90 dB, with wind resistance for clear calls in noisy environments.

The FreeBuds 7i provides up to 35 hours of total playback with ANC off, and a 10-minute quick charge delivers up to 4 hours of listening. The earbuds pair with phones, tablets, laptops, and HarmonyOS devices, with seamless switching and auto-reconnect. They are IP54-rated for dust, sweat, and light rain protection.
