Xiaomi has confirmed that it will introduce the HyperOS 3.0, the next major software update for its phones, at an event in China on August 28th, two months head of the usual schedule.
Regarding this, Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group Partner, President, President of the Mobile Phone Division, and General Manager of the Xiaomi Brand, said,
Xiaomi Surge OS 3 is a new starting point. Making the system ‘smooth’ is our goal. We want users to have a smooth and responsive experience, and a natural, continuous, and smooth feel. At the same time, the functional experience must be easy to use and intuitive to achieve both ease of use and satisfaction.
The company has also started recruitment for Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Beta version for select smartphones and tablets in China.

Lu Weibing hopes that everyone will provide more opinions and feedback, and added that the release of Xiaomi Surge OS 3 is a phased achievement and will also be a new starting point for the company to continuously improve the user experience.
