Samsung Galaxy A17 5G, successor to last year’s Galaxy A16 5G, has surfaced in press render. This reveals a familiar Infinity-V notch display, but the triple rear cameras have a camera deco now to match the other latest 2025 models.
Benchmarks of the phone with the model number SM-A176B surfaced recently that revealed that it will still run Android 15 with One UI 7. It also revealed Exynos 1380 SoC, an enhanced chip compared to the Exynos 1330 which was used in the Galaxy A16 5G.
It is said to retain 50MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro camera and a 13MP front camera in the predecessor, 5000mG battery with 25W fast charging, measure 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.9mm, and should get 6 OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is expected to be introduced sometime in late September or early October.
