realme 15 Series to launch in India on July 24

After teasers, realme has confirmed the launch of realme 15 series – realme 15 5G and realme 15 Pro 5G smartphones in India on July 24th. The company has also announced that it has signed Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal as its smartphone ambassador.

The brand states that these developments are part of its strategy to reinforce its identity and connection with younger consumers, aligning with its core philosophy, “Make it real.”

The partnership will commence with the “Live for real” campaign, featuring Vicky Kaushal.  The company believes that Vicky Kaushal’s public image and popularity among Gen Z and millennials are a suitable fit for the brand’s identity.

As the new face of realme, Kaushal will be featured in key smartphone campaigns, beginning with the launch of the realme 15 Series. The realme 15 Series is positioned as a product line for “young, socially active users” seeking both performance and design.

The series is expected to introduce next-generation AI features, enhanced imaging capabilities, and a new design. A key feature highlighted for the realme 15 Series is AI Edit Genie, described as a voice-led photo editing tool that allows users to edit photos using voice commands.

The realme 15 Pro will be available in three color options: Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, and Silk Purple. The company already revealed that the realme 15 Pro will incorporate flagship features previously exclusive to the “Plus” line of realme smartphones.

The teaser shows RGB LED light around the camera module, triple rear cameras and dual LED flash for the 15 Pro. Recent rumours revealed Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC for the phone, an upgrade from 7s Gen 3.

We should know more details about the phones before these go official later this month.

Regarding the collaboration, Vicky Kaushal said:

I’ve always believed in keeping it authentic and being grounded. These are key values that have shaped every step of my journey. And hence realme’s ‘Make it real’ philosophy truly resonates with me. It’s not just about being real with others, but also being real with yourself, owning your story, and staying true to what drives you. I’m proud to join a brand that understands the ambitions of India’s youth and empowers them to push boundaries. Together, we want to inspire a generation to live boldly, stay real, and make every moment count.

Commenting on the association, Francis Wong, Chief Marketing Officer, realme India:

We are proud to welcome Vicky Kaushal as the smartphone ambassador for realme. His story and persona reflect everything we stand for — confidence, relatability and originality. As we gear up to launch the realme 15 Series on 24th July, this partnership marks an exciting step forward in building realme’s emotional and cultural connection with its audience.
