Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Beyond slim launch set for May 13

After rumours, Samsung has confirmed the global launch of Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone on May 13, 2025. The company has also confirmed 200MP main camera for the phone, and says that it is more than a slim smartphone.

Samsung showcased the Galaxy S25 Edge at its Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year. The phone is said to pack a 6.7-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip with 12GB of RAM, 256GB / 512GB options, dual rear cameras that include a 200MP main camera with ISOCELL HP2 sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

There are reports that it will measure 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84mm, excluding the camera module. The phone is said to pack a 3900mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, similar to the S25.

Expected pricing?

The phone is said to come in Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Icy Blue colours, and is rumoured to start at 1,249 euros (USD 1385 / Rs. 1,17,680 approx.) for the 256GB version, which lies between the Galaxy S25+ and the S25 Ultra.

Samsung has already started pre-reservations for the phone in the US with $50 Samsung credit.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Beyond slim event will be live-streamed online on May 13 (Tuesday) at 9:00 a.m. Korean time (7:30 AM IST) on all the channels.

Update: The company is also teasing the phone in India on online retailers like Flipkart and Amazon.in with a  1PM timing on May 13th, so it could launch in the country on the same day.
