OPPO India has announced the IF Photography Awards, a creative initiative aimed at inspiring mobile photography enthusiasts in India. Renowned Director & Screenwriter, SS Rajamouli, serves as the Indian ambassador for this project.
IF Photography Awards India
The imagine IF Photography Awards were introduced globally in 2023 by OPPO. The first edition received over 700,000 entries from 51 countries. Now in its second year globally, it marks its debut in India.
Competition Details
The contest invites all Indian citizens aged 18 and above to participate across nine categories: Landscape, Portrait, Colours, Unfading Moment, Fashion, Snapshot, Light, Travel, and Collection.
A panel of seasoned photographers, including Joseph Radhik, Arzoo Khurana, and Arjun Mark, among others, will judge the entries.
Submission Process
Participants can submit their smartphone photographs for Round 1 until June 15, 2024 (Midnight IST).
From these submissions, 50 winners will proceed to Round 2, which begins in early July. The final six winners will be announced on July 25, 2024.
Prizes
The Gold winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,00,000, while two Silver winners will be awarded Rs. 2,00,000 each, and three Bronze winners will receive Rs. 1,00,000 each.
All five winners will have the chance to attend the Paris Show, receive the latest OPPO smartphone, and collaborate with OPPO India on photography projects.
Event Announcement
The awards were revealed during the OPPO Ambassador Conclave in Mumbai, coinciding with the unveiling of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, featuring the world’s first quad main camera with HyperTone Image Engine.
The event hosted discussions led by industry leaders, influencers, and OPPO Ambassadors such as Rajeev Masand, Anubhav Sinha, Sudeep Chatterjee, Monaz Todywalla, and Raj Kamble.
Topics covered included the evolution of smartphone photography, AI advancements, and the emergence of content creators.
