realme watch teased again; expected to launch in India soon

During the launch of realme Band, the company also teased more wearable products and the live image of the company’s first smartwatch — realme watch was showcased in a video as well. Now, the company has again posted a teaser video of the realme watch and is expected to launch soon in India.

The tweet posted by Madhav Sheth, CEO, realme mobiles reads “Watch me! Are you ready to join our journey in becoming India’s Most Popular Tech-Lifestyle Brand? Our next AIoT products are on the way. RT to show your excitement. The 7-second teaser video shows a glimpse of the ‘realme watch’ and going by the tweet, the company could also unveil more products alongside the smartwatch.

Coming to the ‘realme watch’, previous report suggested that the company’s first smartwatch will feature a square display with rounded corners that houses a 1.4-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 320×320. It is said to feature a single button on the right side and the wrist bands appear to be non-replaceable. The charging pins are said to be on the backside and is said to charge a 160mAh battery that supposedly will last for 7 days with continuous heart rate monitoring. Furthermore, it is said to be IP68 water-resistant and will connect via Bluetooth 5.0. Other sensors include an acceleration sensor and a blood oxygen sensor but no inbuilt GPS.

Notably, realme has scheduled an event in China on May 25th to introduce 8new products including smartphones, TWS earbuds, smartphone and more. So, we can expect the company to launch these products in India as well soon. The launch date in India is not revealed yet, and we should know more information in the coming days.
