Nokia 3 Hands On and Photo Gallery

After a very long gap, the Finnish handset maker Nokia made a huge come back here at the ongoing MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. As promised, Nokia in tie with HMD global introduced Nokia 3 smartphone powered by Android OS. Here is the closer look at the very same smartphone.

Launched under budget segment, the Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass display with a brightness of 450 nits. This phone features a polycarbonate body rather than metal. It has a 8MP autofocus front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12um pixel size. On the top right, we have a Nokia branding as well.

Turning back, the Nokia 3 has a 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size. As you can see, it has the Nokia branding etched at the middle.

On the left side, we have a SIM slot (Single/dual) on the top and a dedicated MicroSD card slot just below it.

The bottom side of the phone houses a speaker grill, standard USB port and a primary microphone. If observed closely, there is a dual antenna band on both sides.

Moving on to the top, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, a secondary microphone and antenna bands as well.

Just like other Android smartphones, the right side of the Nokia 3 has a Volume rocker button and a power/lock button just below it.

The Nokia 3 runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS out of the box. This smartphone measures 143.4 x 71.4 x 8.48 mm in thickness.

In terms of hardware, the Nokia 3 is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit Processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali T720 MP1 GPU taking care of graphic department.

The phone supports connectivity options including Micro USB (USB 2.0), USB OTG, Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC. It is juiced with 2650mAh battery without any fast charging technology.

The Nokia 3 comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 128GB through microSD card.

The Nokia 3 comes in Silver White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper White colors and starts at 139 Euros (US$ 146 / Rs. 9780 approx.). It will go on sale globally starting from Q2 2017.
