Vivo just announced X9 and X9 Plus, the company’s flagship smartphones in the ‘X series’ in China. Both the phones have a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/2.8″ Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture along with a 8-megapixel camera for capuring depth information when shooting selfies. These phones also have a 16-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.8″ sensor.
The X9 has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with 1.59mm slim bezels for easy on-handed operation and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM, and the X9 Plus comes with a 5.88-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 653 processor with 6GB of RAM. Both the phones run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. These also have full metal unibody design with unique U-shaped antenna design.

The Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus come in Gold and Rose Gold colors. The X9 is priced at 2798 yuan (US$ 400 / Rs. 27,315 approx.) for the 64GB version and the 128GB version costs 2998 yuan (US$ 430 / Rs.29,275 approx.) and is available for pre-order in China from today. Vivo said that it will reveal X9 Plus pricing only on December 26th.
