Xiaomi just announced Mi 5S, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.15-inch 1080p curved glass pressure sensitive display, is powered by a Quad-Core Snadpragon 821 processor and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX378 1/2.3-inch sensor, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus, 4K video recording and a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with pixel size of2 microns.
It has USB Type-C port and packs a 3200mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It has full metal unibody design and is 8.25 mm thick, slightly thicker than the Mi 5. It has a under-glass ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that scans your fingerprint in a split-second.

The Xiaomi Mi 5S comes in Dark gray and Golden colors with glossy brushed metal finish and the Silver and Rose gold colors with frosted matte finish and is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 299/ Rs. 19,920 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 64GB variant and the 4GB RAM with 128GB variant costs 2299 yuan (US$ 344 / Rs. 22,910 approx.). It will go on sale starting from September 29 in China.
