Motorola Moto X+1 press image surfaces

Motorola Moto X+1 place holder for AT&T showed up on official website back in May. Recent rumors said that the Moto X successor will come to Verizon on September 25th. Now the press shots of the Moto X+1 have been leaked. Thanks to @evleaks who has shared these images as a parting gift.

This coincides with the live images of the prototype unit that was leaked last month. Even though the image doesn’t show the sides of the smartphone, it clearly shows aluminum finish on top. It also shows dual front-facing speakers and several sensors on all the corners. Earlier rumors revealed that the smartphone would come with 25 back plate options, including leather.

According to earlier rumors, the Moto X+1 would come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 12MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera and a 2900 mAh battery.

Motorola is expected to unveil the smartphone at an event on September 4th in the US. It has also scheduled an event on September 5th in India. The image shows September 17th date, so it is likely to go on sale for Verizon on that day.
