Gmail users can now receive attachments up to 50MB

You will now be able to receive much heavier files via attachments using Gmail. Google has doubled attachment limit for Gmail to 50MB, up from 25MB.

Prior to this update, users had to reply on Google Drive to send and receive heavier files. Although the receiving attachment limit has been pumped to 5oMB, the sending size limits for attachment is still intact at 25MB. Attachment limits for other email clients like Outlook and Yahoo is 20MB and 25MB respectively.

Just yesterday, Google released Meet by Hangouts video conferencing app aimed at businesses.
