Facebook has added a major change to Messenger which brings a change in the way users start a new conversation. The latest update brings a new Home tab interface that tweaks the way conversations are displayed.
Until now Messenger showed your recent conversations on the top but now it will show the most recent sent and received messages at the top. This will be followed by favorite contacts that you message most frequently. Your favorite contacts are displayed along with a name and image.
Moving on, the Home tab will also highlight upcoming birthdays while a new “active now” section will show you who is available for chatting “at the moment”. The search bar has been moved to the top while the new Home tab, call button, contacts, groups, and profile tabs, is now located at the bottom of the screen. Facebook has been constantly upping its game by bringing new features and improvements to Messenger which has over 900 million monthly active users.
