Nuuk has launched SĒRV MAX, which the company describes as India’s first 100% food-safe multi-cook kettle. Designed in India, the appliance combines cooking, steaming and warming for everyday meal preparation and quick, on-the-go routines.
At the core of the SĒRV MAX is its 700W EvenHeat™ G-Type Coil, which wraps around the entire base of the kettle and covers 35% more surface area than a conventional C-type element. According to Nuuk, the coil distributes heat more evenly and addresses the cold spots associated with conventional kettles.
The coil works with SĒRV WARM™ Mode, which maintains cooked food at a steady 65°C until it is ready to be served. The SĒRV MAX has a 1.3L capacity and can accommodate approximately five cups at a time. It also has two heat levels and 2+1 cooking modes for different preparations.
The two heat levels can be used for preparations such as:
- Boiled eggs
- Breakfast preparations
- Noodles
- Soup
- Rice
In addition, the included SteamTray provides a 200 cm² steaming area for preparing:
- Momos
- Dumplings
- Vegetables
For the cooking surface, the SĒRV MAX uses a SteelTech™ SUS304 stainless-steel interior that is food-grade and rust-proof. It does not use a conventional non-stick coating, so the cooking surface does not rely on a coating that can scratch or flake with use.
The appliance also has an ISI-certified toughened glass lid, allowing users to monitor food while it cooks without lifting the lid. For safety, 5-Layer Ultimate SafetyTech™ combines:
- Auto cut-off
- Boil-dry protection
- Overheat protection
- Thermal fuse protection
Along with these protections, the SafeTouch™ cool-touch body is designed to remain comfortable to hold even while the contents are boiling.
The SĒRV MAX is made in India through Nuuk’s India-based manufacturing partnerships. Nuuk says the appliance was developed around Indian food habits and everyday kitchen routines, with use cases including chai, Maggi, idlis, dal and quick meals.
