Google has integrated Gemini into Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) this season, adding interactive features for viewers as the show airs. Gemini also handled millions of registration-related queries from KBC aspirants during the registration phase.
Gemini trivia
Each KBC episode includes a dedicated segment in which Amitabh Bachchan asks Gemini for a piece of trivia. A QR code displayed on screen lets viewers open the answer in the Gemini app. Viewers can also use Gemini to explore other questions and topics that come up during the show.
Sanket Suchak lifeline
Gemini powers the Sanket Suchak lifeline, which provides hints when a contestant on the hot seat gets stuck on a high-stakes question. Viewers playing along from home can also use the hints to reason through the question and work toward the answer.
Sanket Sawaal
Sanket Sawaal lets viewers at home answer daily questions with Gemini-assisted hints. Top participants can get an opportunity to be invited to experience KBC in person as part of the live studio audience.
Interactive KBC Quiz
The Gemini app also offers a 16-question KBC quiz that viewers can play from their phones. Players can ask follow-up questions about the topics covered in the quiz to explore them further.
