LG unveils expanded AI Home ecosystem, ThinQ Claw and Fit & Max appliances at IFA 2026

LG Electronics is showcasing its expanded AI Home ecosystem at IFA 2026 in Berlin under the theme “Innovation in tune with you.” The company is also presenting Fit & Max appliances, energy-efficient products, OLED evo AI and Micro RGB evo AI TVs, UltraGear monitors, StanbyME 2 Max, Sound Suite and LG SIGNATURE appliances.

LG AI Home ecosystem

The LG AI Home Zone demonstrates how the LG ThinQ ON AI home hub and LG ThinQ platform connect appliances, spaces and services through a single system. The home setups show how LG’s AI can understand users and the characteristics of different spaces to provide functions based on household conditions, user preferences and daily routines.

ThinQ Claw is making its public debut at IFA 2026 as a text-chat-based AI agent integrated with ThinQ ON. It combines natural-language interaction with contextual understanding to recommend relevant actions and provide personalized support based on household conditions, user preferences and daily routines.

For commercial spaces, ThinQ Pro provides centralized control and monitoring of appliances and HVAC systems to support more efficient facility operations. LG is also demonstrating a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) powered by Homey, which coordinates energy generation, storage and consumption across the home; Homey is the smart home platform developed by Athom, which LG acquired in 2024.

At the booth entrance, the LG AI Orchestra uses a 16-by-4-meter kinetic LED installation, with LG CLOiD serving as its conductor. It connects products and services across home appliances, TVs, HVAC and robotics to demonstrate a connected AI Home ecosystem and LG’s Zero Labor Home vision to reduce household chores and free up time for other activities.

Fit & Max appliances

LG’s Fit & Max Solution, originally applied to selected refrigerator models, now extends to washing machines, dryers and dishwashers. The appliances use built-in-style designs intended for living spaces, with refrigerators offering flexible storage and laundry models providing larger capacities without increasing their footprint.

New Fit & Max dishwashers include models that can complete a full wash and dry cycle in one hour.

Energy-efficient appliances

The Energy Leadership Zone highlights LG’s Dual Inverter Heat Pump and inverter compressor technologies. One washing machine uses up to 70% less energy than the minimum requirement for an A rating under current European energy efficiency standards.

The zone also features high-efficiency:

  • Refrigerators
  • Dryers
  • Dishwashers

LG is extending energy-saving technologies previously introduced on flagship models across a broader product portfolio.

OLED, Micro RGB and UltraGear displays

The Media Entertainment Zone features the Wallpaper OLED TV With True Wireless (LG OLED W6) alongside TVs in different sizes. The displays are arranged as a media gallery, with content transitioning across the screens as part of a unified presentation.

LG is also showcasing the 2026 LG OLED evo AI and Micro RGB evo AI TVs, both powered by the α11 AI Processor 4K Gen3. The Micro RGB evo AI features a High Purity RGB Spectrum Display, which is certified by TÜV Rheinland for color purity.

LG is also presenting what it describes as the world’s first UltraGear monitor supporting both FHD resolution and a 1,000Hz refresh rate. The display area also includes LG’s proprietary webOS smart TV platform, along with a dedicated lifestyle zone for StanbyME 2 Max and a listening space for the Sound Suite home audio system.

LG SIGNATURE appliances

The LG SIGNATURE Zone features a refrigerator with AI voice recognition that understands conversational language and can recommend appropriate refrigeration modes for different food items. The LG SIGNATURE 30-inch wall oven combines an internal AI camera with AI Gourmet to recognize different dishes and suggest the optimal cooking mode.
