HUAWEI has introduced the Pura 90 series globally with the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max smartphones at a product launch event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro features a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2760 × 1256 pixels resolution, 460 ppi pixel density, 1.07 billion colours, 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by the Kirin 9030S octa-core processor and comes with 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage options.
For photography, the Pura 90s Pro includes a triple rear camera setup:
- 50MP Ultra Lighting Camera with F1.4-F4.0 aperture and OIS
- 12.5MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera with F2.2 aperture
- 50MP Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera with F2.1 aperture and OIS
The rear camera system supports True-to-Colour Camera 2.0, phase focus, contrast focus, 4x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. The macro telephoto camera supports close-up photography from up to 5cm. The camera supports up to 8192 × 6144 pixels image resolution and up to 3840 × 2160 pixels video recording.
The smartphone comes with a 13MP wide-angle autofocus front camera with an F2.0 aperture. It supports up to 4160 × 3120 pixels image resolution and up to 3840 × 2160 pixels video recording.
The Pura 90s Pro packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 66W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge and 50W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge. The device is available in Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White and Mulberry Black colour options.

The Pura 90s Pro Max supports True-to-Colour Camera 2.0, phase focus, contrast focus and AI camera features, including AI Composition, AI De-glare and AI Move. The device also comes with anti-reflection and scratch-resistant Kunlun glass with the following improvements claimed by HUAWEI:
- 70% reduction in light reflection
- 16x improved scratch resistance
- 25x improved drop resistance
- 200% improved anti-fingerprint coating lifespan
The smartphone includes a 13MP wide-angle autofocus front camera with an F2.0 aperture. It supports up to 4160 × 3120 pixels image resolution and up to 3840 × 2160 pixels video recording.
The Pura 90s Pro Max packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 100W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge and 80W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge. It is available in Blush Gold, Orange Ocean, Blaze Purple and Graphite Black colour options.

EMUI 16 and AI features
Both smartphones run on EMUI 16 and include Celia AI assistant features. Celia supports attraction recommendations, route suggestions, ride services, voice-based calls, schedule management, reminders, system tools and everyday queries.

Location features include GPS (L1 + L5 dual-band), A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC support. Both smartphones also feature stereo speakers with HUAWEI Histen audio technology.
