Ai+ launched new smartphones, including the Nova 2 Pro 5G smartphone, earlier today, expanding the Nova 2 lineup. Here we have the unboxing and first impressions of the phone.

The phone has a 6.9-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) 1.5K flat LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.
There is a 13MP front camera inside the tiny punch-hole. The earpiece is present on the top edge, which doubles as a secondary speaker. There is a small bezel below the screen.
The phone runs Android 16 with nextQ OS on top. It doesn’t have any bloatware and has NxtPrivacy Dashboard, NxtSafe Space, NxtMove App, and NxtQuantum Community App.
Under the hood, the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. It has support for several 5G bands and has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
Coming to button placements, the power button that embeds the fingerprint scanner is present on the right along with volume rockers. The dedicated dual SIM slot with microSD slot is present on the left.
The 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and the loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom. The secondary microphone and vent for the speaker are present on the top. The phone also has IP65 ratings for dust and splash resistance.
The phone has dual rear cameras that include a 48MP main camera with a Sony IMX582 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It supports 2K video recording from both the front and rear cameras. Check out some camera samples.
The phone has a glossy plastic back that attracts fingerprints easily. In addition to Black, the phone also comes in Blue, Green, Purple and Red colors. It has a customizable rear panel notification light on the back that responds to calls and messages. It packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 15,999, but you can get it from Rs 14,999 with a bank offer. The phone will be available from Flipkart starting from June 26th from 12 noon.
