Meta rolls out Creator Assistant on Facebook, expands AI Reels translations to 5 more languages

Meta has announced Creator Assistant, a new AI-powered tool for Facebook creators that provides insights, content recommendations, and audience guidance directly within the Professional Dashboard. The company has also expanded its AI-powered Reels translation capabilities, adding support for five additional languages to help creators reach more viewers globally.

Creator Assistant is an AI-powered tool integrated into Facebook’s Professional Dashboard for creators. It can analyze:

Creators can ask questions such as:

  • Why did a particular Reel perform better than others?
  • How has audience behavior changed over time?

Responses are delivered in a conversational format, allowing creators to ask follow-up questions and explore insights in greater detail.

Creators can also use the tool to understand audience trends, follower activity, posting strategies, and progress toward monetization eligibility.

The tool is designed to help creators understand not only what happened but also why content resonated with audiences. Creator Assistant analyzes factors such as content format, posting timing, audience consumption habits, and engagement patterns to provide context behind performance results.

Creator Assistant can also help creators generate:

Meta expands AI-powered Reels translations

Meta is also expanding its AI-powered Reels translation technology, which was introduced to help creators make their content accessible to audiences speaking different languages.

According to the company, more than half a billion Facebook users now watch AI-translated videos every week. The technology preserves a creator’s voice and speaking style while translating content into another language. It also supports optional AI-powered lip-syncing to better match translated speech with on-screen mouth movements.

Support for five additional languages will be added soon:

  • Arabic
  • Bahasa Indonesian
  • French
  • Thai
  • Vietnamese

The expansion builds on the nine languages already supported by the translation system and is intended to help creators reach larger global audiences without creating separate versions of their content.

Availability

Creator Assistant is rolling out to eligible creators in India, the United States, and Canada through the Facebook mobile app’s Professional Dashboard. Creators can check whether they have access by opening their dashboard within the app.

Meta says it will continue expanding Creator Assistant availability to more creators and countries over the coming months. The company also plans to add new capabilities that go beyond insights and recommendations to help creators take action based on AI-generated guidance.
