AKAI India, operating under Home Tech Digital Limited, has announced the availability of its 2026 Summer Collection in India. The lineup includes the newly launched Direct Cool refrigerator range and the NXT version of Nilgiree Split Inverter Air Conditioners under the company’s “Har Ghar Zero Summer” initiative.
According to the company, the new appliance range is designed to address summer cooling requirements across Indian households at different price points. AKAI added that the lineup has been developed for Indian weather conditions, particularly in regions where temperatures regularly cross 45°C during peak summer months.
Nilgiree Split Inverter AC range
AKAI said its 2026 Nilgiree Split Inverter AC range is engineered to continue cooling operations even when outdoor temperatures reach up to 55 degrees Celsius. The company stated that this is a rated engineering specification.
The AC series is available in 1 Ton and 1.5 Ton capacities with 3-Star to 5-Star energy ratings.

Direct Cool refrigerator range
AKAI has also introduced its 2026 Direct Cool refrigerator lineup featuring Deep Direct Cool technology as part of its Har Ghar Zero Summer appliance range.
The company said the refrigerators are designed for everyday cooling needs such as storing chilled water, fruits, and vegetables during summer conditions. The range also includes wide voltage compatibility aimed at supporting operation during voltage fluctuations associated with peak summer power demand.
The refrigerator lineup uses R600a refrigerant, which the company says has zero ozone depletion potential and lower global warming impact. The range includes mini-series models from 48 litres to 100 litres, along with larger variants ranging from 165 litres to 230 litres.

AKAI said the refrigerator lineup is available across multiple star ratings. The company is also offering a 10-year warranty along with a 1-year compressor warranty.
Pricing and availability
The new AKAI refrigerator and air conditioner range is now available through offline retail stores as well as the official AKAI India website.
Pricing starts at Rs. 16,398 for refrigerators and Rs. 31,490 for air conditioners. The company is also offering no-cost EMI purchase options.
