Perplexity has introduced its Comet browser for iOS, expanding availability to iPhone users. The browser integrates AI-based assistance with standard web browsing to support search, research, and task execution within a single interface.
The iOS version builds on Comet’s existing presence on desktop and Android, with support for cross-device continuity and in-browser assistance powered by the company’s AI system.

Comet for iOS includes a built-in assistant that enables users to interact with web content while browsing. It allows queries related to the current page and provides responses without requiring users to switch between apps or tabs.
The browser supports both conventional search results and AI-generated responses, enabling users to handle quick queries as well as more detailed information requests within the same interface.
