After teasers, OPPO has confirmed the launch of Find N6, the company’s next foldable flagship smartphone, at a global launch event on March 17th. The successor to last year’s Find N5 will be ultra flat, ultra flexible and ultra powerful, said the company.
The OPPO Find N6 foldable phone features “no noticeable creases and a smooth finish even after prolonged use”, along with brand-new color options that will capture your heart at first sight, said Zhou Yibao, head of OPPO’s Find series products. This also comes with AI stylus support and a 200MP camera.
OPPO Chief Product Officer and OnePlus founder Liu Zuohu said:
OPPO Find N6 has rethought the engineering logic of foldable screens. Through the collaborative design of “Dome Memory Glass” and “New Generation Titanium Alloy Dome Hinge,” users no longer have to pay the price for deep creases. The phone not only achieves “imperceptible creases” upon unboxing but also “smoothness after prolonged use” that stands the test of time.
A true foldable flagship should possess the ability to move from “consuming content” to “creating content .” Therefore, the Find N6 not only reconstructs the large-screen interactive experience of the OS but also features the “OPPO AI Stylus.” “It’s not just a pen; it’s an extension of your thinking. When the smoothness of your fingertips transforms into the flow of a pen tip, the foldable screen truly possesses creativity.
Based on earlier rumours, the phone will get an 8.12-inch 2K LTPO UTG main screen, a 6.62-inch secondary screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, a 200MP main + 50MP UW + 50MP periscope telephoto + 2MP multispectral lens, 20MP front cameras, and around a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
OPPO has also confirmed the launch of OPPO Watch X3 smartwatch alongside the Find N6 foldable, and is touted as a “health flagship”. Earlier rumours revealed USB-C charging.
