Infinix has started teasing the launch of Infinix Note 60 Pro as the successor to last year’s Note 50 Pro series. Here is a breakdown of the key features revealed in the latest teaser.
“Rear Matrix Display”: A New Way to Interact
The most striking feature of the Note 60 Pro is the Rear Matrix Display integrated into the camera island. Moving beyond simple notification LEDs, this Active Matrix Display uses a retro-futuristic dot-matrix interface to show real-time information. We had seen this in the ROG phone and most recently in the Nothing Phone (3)
- Functionality: As seen in the teaser, it can display live weather updates, and the current time. It is expected to also handle notification icons, music controls, and charging status.
- Design: The display sits flush within a premium metal camera housing, adding a distinct “cyberpunk” aesthetic to the device’s striking Orange colorway.
Performance: Powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
In a significant move for the Note series, Infinix is partnering with Qualcomm to equip the Note 60 Pro with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 5G chipset.
It promises to handle heavy multitasking and high-frame-rate gaming with ease, marking a step up from the MediaTek chips often found in previous iterations.
Endurance: 6500mAh & Self-Healing Tech
Infinix is tackling battery anxiety head-on with a massive 6500mAh battery.
- Longevity: The teaser explicitly mentions “6-Year Battery” lifespan and “Battery Self-Healing Tech,” suggesting advanced chemical optimizations that prevent battery health degradation over long-term use.
- Speed: When the massive cell finally runs dry, it supports 90W Fast Charging, ensuring you get back to 100% rapidly.
Cinematic Visuals: 144Hz 1.5K Display
The Note 60 Pro features a 1.5K Ultra HDR Cinematic Display with a blisteringly fast 144Hz refresh rate.
-
Visual Fidelity: The 1.5K resolution offers a sharpness superior to standard 1080p panels, while Ultra HDR support ensures deep blacks and vibrant colors for streaming content.
Camera & Cooling
- 50MP Night Master Cam: The primary shooter is a 50MP sensor optimized for low light, promising clear, noise-free images even in challenging sunset or night scenarios.
- 3D IceCore VC Cooling: To keep the Snapdragon chip running cool during gaming sessions, the phone utilizes a Vapor Chamber (VC) cooling system to dissipate heat effectively.
The teaser also reveals JBL-tuned sound, and a leather-textured finish for the back.
Availability
While the official launch date and pricing are yet to be confirmed, the “Coming Soon” tag in the teasers suggests an imminent release closer to MWC 2026.
