UltraProlink has announced the JOT Pencil 2, its second-generation universal stylus for iPads, Android tablets, and smartphones, following the launch of the first-generation JOT Pencil in July. The new model is designed for capacitive touchscreen devices and allows users to switch between multiple screens without changing styluses, the company said.
The JOT Pencil 2 supports iPad models from the 6th to the 10th generation, including Pro, Air, and Mini variants. It also works with several Android tablets, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Xiaomi Pad 7, Lenovo Tab M11, OnePlus Pad Go, Realme Pad 2, and similar devices. It does not support products that use electromagnetic screen technology, including Microsoft Surface devices.
The stylus operates without Bluetooth pairing or companion applications. Users can switch it on and begin writing, drawing, or navigating immediately across tablets and smartphones. It features a 1.5mm fine tip for precise input and supports note-taking, document signing, and sketching. Three interchangeable POM nibs are included for replacement.
The JOT Pencil 2 weighs about 13.3g and uses an aluminium alloy body with a matte finish. iPad users also get magnetic attachment support. Battery features include USB-C fast charging, with a full charge taking around 30 minutes and providing up to 10 hours of continuous use. Three LED indicators show charging status, and auto-sleep activates after five minutes of inactivity.
