Spotify has introduced a new “Import your music” option inside the Your Library tab, enabling users to move playlists from other streaming services without leaving the app.
The update embeds TuneMyMusic directly into Spotify’s interface, reducing the need for external webpages and simplifying transfers for listeners with playlists on platforms such as YouTube Music, Apple Music, or Tidal.
Built-in TuneMyMusic integration
Spotify now incorporates TuneMyMusic, a tool for transferring playlists and other library elements across major and smaller music platforms. The integration places a playlist-transfer entry point inside the Your Library section.
Selecting “Import your music” opens TuneMyMusic within an in-app browser. Users can link multiple accounts and move playlists into Spotify. This process bypasses typical track limits used by third-party tools, but only for imports into Spotify.
While more streamlined than earlier methods, the workflow is not as fully integrated as system-level tools such as Google Takeout or Apple’s built-in export tool.
