realme GT 8 Pro to get 2K 144Hz BOE display

After confirming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC for the realme GT 8 Pro, realme has confirmed that the phone will come with a 2K 144Hz Sky Screen from BOE, which should use custom Q10+ luminous material. To remind you, the realme GT 7 Pro uses a Samsung Display.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone will use a flat screen with a peak brightness of up to 7000 nits compared to 6000 nits in the predecessor, come with support for brightness as low as 1nit, and will support global full brightness DC dimming + circular polarization.

The phone passed 3C certification this week, revealing 120W fast charging, similar to the GT 7 Pro, but this is said to get a battery bigger than 7000mAh. It is also expected to come with support for wireless charging, which the predecessor lacked.

Earlier reports revealed a 6.78-inch flat screen, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance, dual 115E speakers and an X-axis linear motor.

The company recently revealed that the phone will feature a new rear triple-camera module, a change from usual square or round designs and making it look like a robot. This is said to use two circular lenses with a square periscope telephoto unit.

It also confirmed that the telephoto unit will feature a 200MP telephoto camera for the first time in a realme phone. Earlier reports revealed a 50MP main camera and an ultra-wide camera.

We should know more details in the coming days before the realme GT8 series go official in October.
