Xiaomi today introduced HyperOS 3 at an event in its home market, China, describing the update with the tagline “Everything goes smoothly.”

HyperOS 3 introduces a hot-swappable scheduling mechanism and a fully enabled graphics scheduling link. Key performance gains include:
- App launch speed: +21%
- Video playback performance: +10%
- Game frame rate (low-load): +15%
- Game touch response latency: −9%
System animations have been refined across over 100 scenarios, enhancing visual continuity and creating a more fluid, responsive experience.
New Features and Personalization
The update introduces Xiaomi Super Island, a dynamic hub for live activities and notifications supporting over 70 integrated services.

- AI-Generated Dynamic Wallpapers: Transform photos into cinematic visuals
- Unified Customization Interface: Edit lock screens and wallpapers in one place

HyperOS 3 enhances functionality across Xiaomi devices and adds Apple device support for seamless interoperability.

- Mac: Open up to three mobile app windows; unlock Xiaomi phone via Touch ID or Face ID
- iPhone: Synchronized notifications, mirror and reply to WeChat/QQ, seamless file/photo/video sharing, cloud gallery sync, one-tap hotspot and location access
Other Devices
- PC: Supports up to six mobile app windows simultaneously
- Tablets: New split-screen options, including 1:9 ratio, and low-latency handwriting with pressure sensitivity
- Wearables: Cross-Screen Vlog Assistant, real-time heart rate transfer, and smart navigation handoff
- TVs: Smart Event Reminders and Multi-Screen Viewing mode

AI-driven capabilities include:
- Super XiaoAI Suggestion: Context-aware intelligence
- One-Step Access: Powered by on-device large language models; planned support for 80+ apps and 1,000+ functions by end-September
- Screen Circle: Circle on-screen content to trigger instant actions such as search, translation, or sharing

HyperOS 3 introduces advanced security measures:
