Telegram has rolled out several new features for Android and iOS users with its latest update, including global post search, story albums, custom gift collections, a new profile rating system, and improved bot management tools.

Global Search for Public Posts (Telegram Premium)
Telegram Premium users can now access a new ‘Posts’ tab in the search interface, allowing them to browse messages from public channels across the platform. This feature enables faster discovery of content and simplifies finding relevant information from multiple sources in one place.
Story Albums in Profiles and Channels
Users can now group stories into albums on their profile, making it easier to organize and showcase content such as trip highlights, pet videos, or other personal collections.
- Channel admins can also use albums to structure content like product showcases or thematic posts.
To create an album: Go to the ‘Posts’ tab in your profile or channel and select ‘Add Album’.
Custom Gift Collections
Users have the option to arrange their digital gifts into personalized collections, organized by factors like rarity or design.
- A single gift can belong to multiple collections, offering flexible organization.
- Collections come with advanced filters for easy navigation.
To create one: Go to the ‘Gifts’ tab → Select a gift → Tap ‘Add Collection’.
Profile Rating Based on Telegram Stars
User profiles now display a numeric rating badge, based on completed transactions using Telegram Stars. This system is designed to reflect user trustworthiness in areas such as Suggested Posts and Paid Messages.
- Rating increases with successful purchases and funding activities.
- Rating decreases if Stars are refunded or if gifts are converted back into Stars.
Limited Edition Premium Gifts (Coming Soon)
Telegram is preparing to launch a new class of limited-edition gifts, which will be available only to Premium users.
- Each user will be able to purchase a restricted number of these gifts.
- Most existing gifts will continue to be available to all users through the gift marketplace.
Bot Management via @BotFather Mini App
A new @BotFather mini app has been launched, giving developers tools to manage bots and mini apps more efficiently. Key capabilities include:
- Editing bot settings, icons, and descriptions
- Creating full-screen apps
- Enabling subscriptions
- Supporting location and motion tracking
- Adding shortcuts to device home screens
Availability
All features are available now through Telegram version 11.14.0 and above.
